JobRight for the copilot. CoBlack for the autopilot

JobRight calls itself your AI job search copilot, and the word is exact. It reads your background, scores how well you fit each role, surfaces daily matches with the reasons behind them, and fills the application form with one click through its Chrome extension. Founded in 2023 and public since June 2024, it passed 500,000 users by June 2025, with around 60 percent returning every day, and it grew that far without paid advertising (Jobright, 2025). The matching is genuinely good.


In June 2025 it added an AI Agent that, in the company's own words, finds, customizes, and submits applications on behalf of job seekers, putting the search on autopilot (Jobright, 2025). That is where the whole market is heading. The question is how far JobRight has actually gone, and where the copilot still expects you to fly.


What JobRight does

The core is match and insight. You get roles ranked by fit, a plain readout of why each one matches, recruiter contacts where they exist, and a resume nudged toward the posting. The autofill extension covers the major systems, Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Ashby, and Workable. For finding and understanding jobs, it is one of the stronger tools in its class.


The AI Agent sits on the paid Turbo plan, around 30 dollars a month with weekly and quarterly options (Jobright, 2026). It is sold as unlimited autonomous applying. In practice, independent 2026 reviews describe it as early access, waitlisted for some users, and not yet as hands-off as the page suggests, advising people to check listings for freshness and read any generated resume before it goes out (ResumeHog, 2026; JobHire, 2026). It scans thousands of sources rather than applying through verified employer career pages.


What the reviews say

The public record is large and mostly warm. JobRight holds about 4.8 out of 5 across roughly 1,700 Trustpilot reviews, with praise centered on match quality and role discovery (Trustpilot, 2026). The one-star reviews cluster tightly, and they are worth reading before you pay. Billing and cancellation complaints run through most of them: charges after cancellation, no confirmation screen, auto-renewal with no warning. Reviewers also flag resume bullets with invented metrics and expired listings still shown as live (JobHire, 2026). None of this makes JobRight a bad product. It makes it a copilot with a billing problem and an agent that is not finished.


Where CoBlack stands

CoBlack is built from the other end. It does not hand you a filled form to approve. It sources roles directly from verified employer ATS feeds and career pages, not a sweep of job boards, so the openings are real and current. It builds a Career Capability Map from what you have actually done, writes a fresh resume for every matching opening, and submits server-side, with no review queue and no approval click. There is no credit meter, because the search is free.


CoBlack users convert to interviews at 12 times the rate of a standard search (CoBlack internal data, 2026), not from applying to more, but from the right application landing at the right opening while they get on with the day. A copilot still needs you in the seat. That is JobRight's honest shape, and for people who want to approve every send, it is a fair one.
