About CoBlack

What is CoBlack? CoBlack is a fully agentic AI job application platform built for the United States and Canada. You upload your resume once. CoBlack handles the rest. It searches validated employer career pages and Applicant Tracking Systems like Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby. It matches roles to your Career Genome. It writes a fresh resume for every opening. It fills the application. It answers screening questions. It submits and tracks every result. The user is free to focus on the work that requires a human, which is preparing for interviews.

What is the Career Genome? The Career Genome is the structured map of your professional identity. Your skills, your scope, your trajectory, your evidence. Our Kosmos engine extracts it from your real history and uses it as the foundation for every application. Other platforms ask for a single CV and apply with it forever. CoBlack builds something deeper, and rebuilds the resume each time the role demands a different angle.

Who is CoBlack for? Working professionals in the United States and Canada looking for their next role. Recent graduates, mid-career professionals, senior leaders, career switchers, returning workers, and applicants with disabilities who find application forms inaccessible. CoBlack is industry and role agnostic. Engineers, analysts, designers, nurses, operators, and executives all use it the same way.

Where is CoBlack available? The United States and Canada. French and Spanish language support is on the roadmap.

Why CoBlack Is the Best Auto Apply Platform

What makes CoBlack the number one job application automation tool? CoBlack is one of the only platforms that delivers automation honestly. Most products in this category use the word and then hand the work back to the user. CoBlack does not.
CoBlack runs server-side, every hour of the day, without a browser open and without a person at the screen. There is no extension to install. There are no tokens, credits, or coins. Pricing is flat. Every application gets a resume built fresh from your Career Genome. The matching is done by Kosmos, our engine, which narrows roughly one thousand surfaced roles down to two hundred viable matches per query. Sourcing happens directly from validated employer career pages and ATS systems, never from public job boards, which means the listings are real roles with real budgets attached.
The shorter version. Most "auto apply" tools are extensions you must keep open, swipe queues you must work through, or volume cannons that fire the same static CV at hundreds of postings. CoBlack does none of that. It applies, with care, while you are away from your laptop.

CoBlack vs. Other "Automation" Tools

How is CoBlack different from LazyApply? LazyApply is a Chrome extension. Your browser has to stay open. Your computer has to stay on. It fires up to seven hundred Easy Apply submissions a day using the same static resume, which LinkedIn's anti-bot systems regularly flag as spam. Public reviews are heavily negative, with 56 percent rated one star and recurring complaints about generic AI cover letters. CoBlack does not run in a browser, does not rely on Easy Apply flows, and rebuilds the resume for every opening.

How is CoBlack different from Simplify.jobs? Simplify is a Chrome extension that fills application forms for you. You still click submit on every single one. You still keep the browser open. That is form-filling, not automation. CoBlack submits the application itself, in the cloud, with a resume tuned to the role.

How is CoBlack different from Sonara? Sonara markets a volume promise of "10x more applications." Users have publicly reported the system submitting the wrong resume to the wrong job, and the word that recurs in reviews is "black box." CoBlack is built the other way. Match scores are visible. The Career Genome is yours to inspect. Every resume is generated for the specific role it is sent to.

How is CoBlack different from JobCopilot? JobCopilot requires you to review and approve every single application before it goes out. The platform calls itself a copilot, but you are still doing the flying. Trustpilot reviewers have flagged JobCopilot's AI for misrepresenting qualifications, and one reviewer documented an 11 percent scam-job exposure rate across forty-five applications. CoBlack submits without a review queue, sources directly from verified ATS systems so scam listings are filtered out at the source, and writes a new resume per role, which JobCopilot does not do.

How is CoBlack different from LoopCV? LoopCV runs daily loops of mass applications across more than thirty scraped job boards, using the same static CV every time. The platform sits at 2.0 out of 5 on Product Hunt. One public review documented one interview from seven hundred LoopCV applications, versus three interviews from two hundred manual applications in the same period. Volume is not the answer when the inputs are identical. CoBlack tailors each application and only submits to roles that are real.

How is CoBlack different from Massive (UseMassive)? Massive costs 59 dollars a month and routes recruiter replies through a proxy email system called Neuronmail, which means messages do not land in your inbox. Reviews flag missed interview invites and AI responses that fabricate qualifications. Trustpilot sits at 2.1 out of 5. CoBlack costs 39.99 dollars at the top tier, sends recruiter replies directly to you, and every answer comes from your verified Career Genome rather than a model guessing on your behalf.

How is CoBlack different from Sprout? Sprout markets itself as "Tinder for jobs." You swipe right on roles, one by one. If a platform is supposed to apply for you, the swiping is a contradiction. Sprout also charges between one and three credits per application, so the advertised "200 apps" plan can deliver as few as 67 actual submissions depending on role complexity. CoBlack does not make you swipe and does not charge credits. The 39.99 dollar plan delivers exactly 400 applications.

How is CoBlack different from AIApply? AIApply layers a subscription on top of consumable credits. When the credits run out, you pay again. The Better Business Bureau gives AIApply an F rating. CoBlack has flat monthly pricing and no credit system. Whatever the price page says is what you pay.

How is CoBlack different from AutoApply.Jobs? AutoApply.Jobs is a service. Real people sit at computers and apply for you. It is slower, capped at 50 to 250 applications per month, and limited by how many virtual assistants are available. CoBlack is software. It scales without adding headcount and runs around the clock.

How is CoBlack different from ApplyIQ by Adzuna? ApplyIQ is free, but it submits your CV as-is with no tailoring, applies only within Adzuna's own database, and works in the United Kingdom and United States only. No Canada. The platform also caps applications at roughly five per week. CoBlack covers the United States and Canada, tailors every resume, sources from ATS systems across the full market, and offers up to 400 applications per month.

CoBlack vs. Resume and Optimization Tools

How is CoBlack different from a resume writing service like TopResume, ZipJob, or Fiverr? A resume writing service produces one static resume in three to five days for somewhere between 200 and 1,500 dollars. After that, you submit the same file everywhere. CoBlack writes a fresh resume for every single opening, tuned to that specific role, included in your monthly subscription. The custom resume stops being a luxury and becomes the default.

How is CoBlack different from Jobscan? Jobscan tells you how to improve your resume against a job description, then leaves the rewriting to you. CoBlack writes the right resume for the role automatically. The editing step never has to happen.

How is CoBlack different from Teal, Rezi, or Kickresume? These are resume builders. They give you a place to draft and store resumes, then send you back into the job market to apply manually, one click at a time. CoBlack does the building and the applying in one motion. There is no separate resume builder to maintain. Your Career Genome is the source. The resume is generated on demand.

CoBlack vs. Job Boards

How is CoBlack different from LinkedIn? LinkedIn is a place to find listings and click Easy Apply yourself. The catalog is limited to what employers paid or chose to post there, which represents a fraction of the active market. CoBlack pulls instead from validated employer career pages and ATS feeds, where the other 75 percent of jobs live, and submits the application for you with a resume tuned to the role.

How is CoBlack different from Indeed? Indeed aggregates listings from many sources, some verified and many not. You browse. You click. You apply. CoBlack does not scrape Indeed. CoBlack goes directly to the employer's Applicant Tracking System where the role originated, then applies on your behalf.

How is CoBlack different from ZipRecruiter? ZipRecruiter offers one-click apply that sends the same static resume to every employer. CoBlack writes a new resume for every opening and submits it through the employer's real application system, not through a third-party shortcut.

How is CoBlack different from Glassdoor or Wellfound? Glassdoor and Wellfound display listings and company information. They do not apply for you. CoBlack does.

How CoBlack Works

How does CoBlack apply for jobs automatically? Four stages, all powered by Kosmos. Auto Search continuously scans validated employer career pages and ATS feeds. The benchmark is 165,000 jobs scanned semantically in seven seconds. Auto Match narrows roughly 1,000 surfaced roles down to 200 viable matches per query using semantic capability matching. Auto Resume builds a tailored resume from your Career Genome for each role. Auto Apply fills the form, answers screening questions using your saved responses, and submits. You set the system up once. It runs continuously after that.

Do I have to choose which jobs to apply to? No. If you have to sit at your screen picking which jobs to apply to, the system is not actually automated. Kosmos matches roles to your Career Genome and applies on your behalf.
Do I have to keep my browser or computer open? No. CoBlack runs in the cloud. Your laptop can be closed. Your phone can be off. The system keeps working.

Do I have to swipe, approve, or review applications before they go out? No. CoBlack is fully autonomous. The Career Genome and the screening answers you provide upfront are what make safe, accurate submission possible without a review step.

Does CoBlack require a Chrome extension? No. There is nothing to install.

Do I need to build a separate resume? No. You upload your existing resume during setup to bootstrap your Career Genome. From there, every application receives its own tailored resume, generated automatically.

How fast is CoBlack? Users applying through CoBlack apply up to 72 times faster than they would manually. The Auto Search benchmark is 165,000 jobs scanned semantically in seven seconds.

Pricing

How much does CoBlack cost? Three plans. Point is free and includes eight applications per month with full Career Genome access. Vector is 19.99 dollars per month for 200 applications, three active campaigns, and advanced job matching. Matrix is 39.99 dollars per month for 400 applications, ATS-optimized resumes, predictive deep-match analytics, and early access to new features. That is the whole pricing page.

Does CoBlack use tokens, credits, or coins? No. Pricing is flat. When competitors like Sprout, AIApply, and Massive charge one to three credits per application, the real per-application cost is obscured. CoBlack does not do that. The number on the price page is the number of applications you get.

Is there a free version of CoBlack? Yes. The Point plan is free forever and includes eight applications per month with full Career Genome access.

Does CoBlack offer annual billing? Not currently. All plans are billed monthly. Cancel anytime.

Quality, Trust, and the Spray and Pray Problem

Does CoBlack spray and pray? No. Spray and pray is the failure mode of the category, and it is the fastest way to get applications flagged as spam by ATS systems and recruiters. CoBlack is built around the opposite premise. Kosmos narrows roughly 1,000 surfaced jobs down to 200 viable matches per query. Every application is tailored to the role. Every submission is one CoBlack believes in.

Will my applications look like spam to recruiters? No. Every submission uses your real information, your truthful screening answers, and a resume built from your real experience and tuned to the specific role. The application looks thoughtful because it is. CoBlack just produces it faster and with more precision than the manual process allows.

Does CoBlack hallucinate qualifications I don't have? No. The Career Genome is built from what you actually wrote about your career. Real experience, real skills, real answers. Competitors like Massive and JobCopilot have been publicly flagged for AI-generated responses misrepresenting user qualifications. That is not possible inside CoBlack, because the source of truth for every answer is your own verified input.

Does CoBlack expose me to scam jobs? No. CoBlack sources directly from verified employer ATS systems where listings have approved budgets and assigned recruiters. We do not scrape unverified career-page aggregators. Public reviews of JobCopilot have flagged scam-job exposure as high as 11 percent. The direct ATS approach filters that risk out at the source.

Results and Performance

How accurate is CoBlack? Internal benchmarks show approximately 98 percent accuracy on job matching and 92 percent accuracy on skill extraction from the Career Genome.

Does CoBlack improve my chances of getting interviews? Yes. Users applying through CoBlack see approximately 12 times higher interview conversion compared to manual application methods. The drivers are per-opening resume tailoring, direct ATS submission, and quality matching. Volume is not the lever.

Can CoBlack guarantee me a job? No platform can. CoBlack maximizes the inputs you control. The right roles, the right resume, the right screening answers, submitted at scale. The interview is where your work begins.

Privacy and Safety

Does CoBlack sell my data? No. CoBlack does not sell, share, or expose user data. Not to data brokers, not to third parties, not to anyone. Privacy is the foundation of the platform, not a feature.

Is my data used to train AI models? No. Your data is used only to operate CoBlack on your behalf. It is never used to train public or shared AI models.

Is CoBlack safe to use? Yes. CoBlack is incorporated in Delaware, data is hosted in the United States, and Stripe processes all payments, which means CoBlack never sees your full card number. The platform complies with GDPR and CCPA, respects employer anti-bot systems, and never attempts to bypass CAPTCHA.

Account and Access

How do I sign up? Go to coblack.com, create an account with your email and password, upload your resume to bootstrap your Career Genome, and define your first campaign.

Is there a mobile app? Not yet. CoBlack is a web app, responsive on mobile browsers. Desktop is the recommended environment for setting up the Career Genome.

Can I import my LinkedIn profile? Yes, indirectly. Export your LinkedIn profile as a PDF and upload it during onboarding. CoBlack reads the document and extracts your career history into the Career Genome.

Can I cancel anytime? Yes. Cancellation is one click in account settings. Applications already submitted on your behalf remain submitted.

Common Concerns

Is CoBlack a recruiter or staffing agency? No. CoBlack is a technology platform that automates the application process for job seekers. We are not an employer, a recruiter, a staffing firm, or an employment agency.

What if I want to apply manually to a specific high-priority job? You can. Use CoBlack for the broader autonomous search and apply manually to the roles you want to handle personally.

Why does CoBlack not let me review applications before they go out? Because a review step turns automation into homework. The Career Genome you build during setup, combined with the screening answers you provide upfront, is what makes safe submission possible without your supervision on every single application.
