The Progress Lab is the part of CoBlack that makes your profile stronger, and it shows its work: every gap on a card, every card with a number, and a score on the door that moves when you do.

Every gap, priced
Open the Progress Lab from the beaker in the top bar. The badge on it is the number of gaps left. Inside, your profile is dealt out one card at a time, counted "3 of 17", with a running estimate of how long the rest will take and a section bar that jumps you between work, projects, education, links and the rest.
Every field on a card carries what it is worth to your profile score, so you can see which piece of work moves the number most. Fields that only count once a whole group is filled say so. Cards show the whole entry, filled fields included, so you can check what came off your resume before you move on. Saving is automatic as you go.
The first ten minutes
On your first visit a short welcome card shows your starting profile score. A one-time set-up pass comes first: add a photo, confirm your name, location, email and phone, check the links pulled off your resume, and hide the sections that do not apply to you.
The moment your first matched jobs are found, a card opens on its own with up to five of them and their match scores. Then Profile Enhancement gets to work: within about ten minutes it has reworked your profile from your resume and CoBlack's knowledge of your industry. It is in beta, and it runs on every plan, free and paid.
Questions employers ask
The screening questions employers ask most appear in the Progress Lab as their own cards, with tappable answers and a "Write my own" box for anything that does not fit. Answer them once, and Auto Apply answers them for you on every application that follows.
Built into the engine
Nothing you fill in stays in the lab. It flows into your Career Capability Map, the record the rest of CoBlack runs on: Auto Match scores more precisely, Auto Resume writes from a fuller history, and screening answers draw on what you confirmed. Once your score reaches the ready mark, Auto Apply switches on by itself. Turn it off and it stays off.

Does clearing cards actually change my results?
Yes, mechanically: every field you fill in updates your Career Capability Map, which is what Auto Match scores against and Auto Resume writes from. A fuller profile means sharper matches and stronger resumes on every application that follows.
