Why this page exists
Every figure CoBlack publishes is CoBlack’s own measurement. None of them comes from a third-party study. This page states, for each number, what was counted, over what sample and period, and what the number does not claim. When a number changes, this page changes with it.
72x: time to a shortlist
What was counted: the time from the start of a search to a shortlist of openings the member would apply to, for an active CoBlack campaign, against a typical manual search of job boards and career pages.
Where: CoBlack’s proof-of-concept cohort, measured against a typical manual search.
What it does not claim: the comparison is CoBlack against a manual search. It is not a comparison with any named competitor.
12.14 percent: interview rate on applications sent
Between September and October 2026, CoBlack applied to more than 2,000 jobs for its members and read every employer reply that came back. 12.14 percent of those applications led to an employer asking for a call, a screen or an interview. We count the ask, not the meeting, and we do not count replies that only confirm receipt.
12x: interviews
Before CoBlack, members told us the interview rate they saw from searching by hand. CoBlack’s rate was twelve times that. The baseline is self-reported, so treat the multiple as a guide. The 12.14 percent above is the measured number.
Roughly 98 percent: match accuracy
Measured in CoBlack’s lab: our matching encoders scored a set of job and profile pairs, and a human reviewer scored the same pairs. They agreed on roughly 98 percent of fit calls. Internal test, 2026; results vary by profile.
What it does not claim: this is a lab result that measures the matching system against a human reviewer. It is not a field measurement of any member’s outcome.
52 percent: a tailored resume against the original
Measured in CoBlack’s lab: for the same profile, the resume Auto Resume wrote scored 52 percent higher against the job than the member’s original resume. Internal test, 2026; results vary by profile.
What it does not claim: a lab result for the resume engine, not a promise about replies to any one application.
2.7 million: live openings in the job index
What was counted: live openings in CoBlack’s job index at last count, October 2026. Openings come from employers’ own applicant tracking systems and verified career pages. Expired and duplicate postings are removed as they are found, so the count moves day to day.
Related: one profile was matched against 165,000 jobs in 7 seconds in an internal measurement, 2026.
What these numbers do not claim
None of this is a promise. Your rate depends on your profile, your field and the openings that exist when you search. CoBlack does not guarantee interviews or offers.
- The 72x and 12x figures compare CoBlack with a manual search, not with any named competitor.
- The 98 percent and 52 percent figures are lab results that measure the system, not a member’s outcome.
- Member stories on the home page are individual experiences and are marked as such.
- Every figure here is CoBlack internal data. No third party has audited it.
