Every screen of CoBlack now works on phones and tablets, and not one of them is an application form. That is the shape of the v1.3.0 release, published today, and it follows from how the product was built.
The phone is where people already are
Pew Research Center surveyed 9,750 US adults this spring and found that 53 percent say they spend too much time on their smartphone. Among adults under 30, the figure is 70 percent. For most people, the phone is not the second screen. It is the first.
It is also the worst place to complete an application. Apply completion runs consistently highest on desktop, lowest on mobile, and falls as applications get longer (Joveo's benchmarks, August 2026). Small keyboard, long form, fewer people finish.
CoBlack never had the form
CoBlack members do not fill application forms on any device. Auto Apply submits each application server-side, directly into the employer's own applicant tracking system, carrying the role-specific resume Auto Resume wrote for that opening. The mobile completion problem Joveo documents describes a step CoBlack members do not perform.
So v1.3.0 brings everything else
What moves to the phone is the rest of the search. Job cards tap through, and every panel is built for touch. Progress Lab sits behind a beaker in the top bar: a queue of everything still missing from the profile, one card at a time, with what each gap is worth to the profile score. New campaigns search within 50 miles of a member's zip code, or the entire country if chosen. Continue with Google handles sign-in. And Profile Enhancement, now in beta on every plan, free and paid: ten minutes after a member's first matches arrive, their profile has been reworked from their resume.
Auto Apply itself starts on its own once the profile reaches the ready mark. Turned off, it stays off.
Watching, not typing
This is mobile job search as CoBlack defines it. The phone is where the search is watched and steered, not where forms are typed. The forms never reach the phone because they never reach the member at all. The system files them, and the member sees the result.

Huntr tracked 80,719 applications in Q2 2026. The closer an application enters to the employer, the more often it reaches an interview. Apply directly.
Everything but the search
67 percent of job seekers use AI at work, yet only 29 percent use it to find jobs. The job search automation gap, and how Auto Search closes it.
More keywords, fewer interviews
Huntr's Q2 2026 data shows matching more resume keywords can mean fewer interviews: 4.95 percent at 80 percent coverage versus 6.30 percent at 40 to 59.
Listed but buried
43 percent of applicants list AI competencies. Only 10 percent surface them. Why AI skills on a resume stay buried, and how Auto Resume decides what leads.
Days of hiring, months of searching
The job search timeline shortened to 82 days in Q2 2026. The employer's part of it takes days. The rest is the applications that never answer.
